這個週末瑄瑄去佛寺過了快樂的三天,回來後把她玩的心得畫成畫,寫成文章,讓自己留做紀念
今年佛寺夏令營的主軸是"八正道~~~正見,正思維,正語,正業,正命,正精進,正念,正定
除了把這八正道介紹給小朋友,更希望大家能在生活裡實現
八正道念起來有點深奧,大人都不一定會懂,更不用說是這些小ABC,總策劃把這八種難記難懂的觀念跟八
種食物聯想起來,雖然有些連得有點勉強,連小師父聽了都笑說"真會掰",但是對小孩來說還真的收到理解的

I went to a summer camp this year. It was at a temple. On the first day I was
excited.Especially when I found out that my friend Jasmine was on my team.But I was kind of
sad that I wasn't on my favorite counselor Sheila's team.
Lin,our teacher told us about the eightfold path and eight vegetables. Every vegetable
has its own meaning like carrot is right view ,tofu meaning like right concentration.We have
to get booder credits to buy the eight vegetables .The team who buys the most vegetables wins.
The way to get booder credits is by answering questions and do team work.We also created our
team flags and team cheers.
On the second day we got to play team games.My favorite game was red light green light.
When the person says green light you run,yellow light you slow down,red light stop and the
counselor turn around. If counselor catch you moving ,he get to pie you with whipped cream
but if you reach your counselor without being caught,you get to pie your counselor with
whipped cream.My poor counselor Tony get cream all over his hair and face .Everyone
laughed at him.
After the team games there was a water fight.Nobady dared to get close to me because
I had a big giant water gun. But at the end I got soaking wet because the counselors threw
water balloons at us. All of us got very wet but all of us was very happy.That night we had
a lantern festival. We lit lanterns which we made yesterday and roasted marshmallows .It
was fun too.
On the third day we did exercise and danced the hodownthrodown and practiced the skit
at morning and show to parents at afternoon.We also got our prizes for the best flag and best
cheers and things like that. Truly, summer camp was great.I would like to come back next
year.
